Travelling

Visa Requirements

Greece is a Schengen country and therefore a Schengen visa is needed. Delegates traveling to the Conference from outside of the European Union may be required to obtain a visitor visa. For more information about visa requirements, visit the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. It is highly recommended that attendees begin making travel plans as early as possible in order to allow sufficient time to complete the visa application process.

ARTION Conferences & Events can provide all the necessary support to International Delegates in order to ensure a VISA, if needed. This would include:

  • ♦ The preparation of an Invitation Letter where all the necessary details will be stated, including: event title, dates, delegate's details, purpose of country visit
  • ♦ Communication with issuing authorities (ministries, embassies, consulates)
  • ♦ Further correspondence and submission of additional documents (such as Conference Programme, Accommodation Reservation etc.)
