How to Register

Registration to the 5th GEOBIA Conference is made either by duly completing the on line Registration Form by 10 May 2014 (Registrations’ Deadline).
Further to this date you can register on site at the Secretariat’s Desk. The Registration and Hotel Reservation form is individual and only Accompanying Persons can be included in it. All participants will receive confirmation of their registration.

GEO-Scholarship

We are glad to announce that the Group on Earth Observation - GEO offers 10 scholarships to presenting students coming from Least Developed or Developing Countries. These scholarships cover the GEOBIA2014 student package in full. The selection will be performed by the scientific committee, based on the applicability and impact of the study especially with regards to developing countries.

Methods of payment

Credit cards are our preferred method of payment, but we also accept registration payments by wire transfer. If you would like to pay by wire, please complete the registration form and select “Wire Transfer” as the method of payment, as well as the preferred bank account (in Greece or Belgium). Your registration will remain pending until we receive the payment. Payments should be effected upon registration, within 10 days.

Invoices

Your invoice will be issued by ARTION Conferences & Events upon arrival, according to the invoicing details in your registration form.

Cancellation Policy

Because the Organizing Committee incurs certain expenses prior to the conference, it is necessary to impose the following cancellation policy:

  1. Written cancellation until 30 April 2014. Administrative Fee of 10% of the total cost.
  2. Written cancellation from 1 May 2014 to 12 May 2014. Administrative Fee of 30% of the total cost.
  3. Written cancellation from 12 May 2014. No refunds.
  4. All refunds will be examined after 16 June 2014.
